We have an opening for a Staff Physician of Hematology/Oncology services.
The Section is the sole referral site for veterans with hematology and/or oncology diagnoses for the state of New Jersey.
The department actively participates in clinical research and is an affiliate member of ECOG-ACRIN through the University of Pennsylvania.
We are a major teaching hospital of Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
There is an active outpatient clinic, chemotherapy infusion suite, and inpatient ward.
The hospital is remodeling to construct a state-of-the-art Comprehensive Oncology Center with Medical, Radiation and Surgical Oncology on site.
The Section works closely with other oncology services and with Palliative Care.
