The New Jersey VA (VANJHCS ) is a consolidated facility comprised of two main campuses, one in East Orange, located in Northeastern New Jersey within the greater New York metropolitan area, and one in Lyons, 22 miles to the west of the East Orange Campus.
The orthopedic program is affiliated with Rutgers New Jersey Medical SchoolThe selected candidate will follow established guidelines, ethics, and policies and protocols of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Each Orthopedic surgeon functions as a cooperative and collegial team member with the entire staff.
If selected , you will be responsible for participating in and/or manage all aspects of a general orthopedic surgery program, to include inpatient and outpatient clinical, administrative, academic, and research components if warranted.
Responsibilities also includes performing administrative duties, hip and knee joint replacement surgeries, arthroscopies as well as basic fracture work.
You will be expected to also provide supervision to Orthopedic PAs and Orthopeadic Residents from Rutgers NJMS Orthopaedic Program along with other assigned duties/task.
Work Schedule:
Primarily Monday-Friday, various shifts; required to participate in on-call rotation.
Travel:
May be required to work at a different site 1/2 a day per week.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
